Hey guys, we have some unfortunate news. Two days ago a new exploit was discovered for vBulletin Advanced CMPS, and we got hit by it. As far as we can tell this was an automated script doing the hacking, and it appears the only damage was some advertising code inserted into our web pages. We have since reverted the damage and fixed the exploit, so this should not happen again.
However, the nature of this exploit means we have no way of checking whether passwords or emails were accessed. We do not believe this attack was aimed at stealing passwords or email addresses, but to be on the safe side we are considering all passwords on this site to be compromised. We recommend that you change your password on this site and any sites that share the password (why are you sharing passwords?  ). We would like to apologise for this lapse in security, we have done our best to remedy the situation and do not expect it to happen again.

Megaupload shut down |

Just a head's up ~ Megaupload.com has been one of the primary offsite upload locations for some of the user-posted content for quite a while. With the shut-down this week of Megaupload, we will see a number of broken links and missing content in threads using this resource.
If you have posted content using Megaupload as your file storage resource, please take a few moments and edit your posts with your updated content links using another file-sharing resource like:
Mediafire.com
Uploading.com
Depositfiles.com
Hotfile.com
As a note, the zip\rar filesize limit for post attachments has been raised to 20MB so please use this rather than offsite file hosting resources when possible.
Thanks in advance for updating your posts, the content posted by members is one of the things that makes our community great! \o/

A note about reporting posts |

When you report a post, it creates a thread in the staff forums containing the reported post, the reporter, the reportee, and any message the reporter leaves us. When you report ten posts, it creates ten threads.
If a single poster is spamming the forums and you report every post, we get a dozen threads all reporting the same thing and we then have to manually close every report. So if someone is causing trouble you only need to report them once - we can find the rest of their posts ourselves.
